This policy describes how Poocho AI ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our website and enterprise products. If you are an enterprise customer, your deployment may be governed by a separate Data Processing Agreement that takes precedence over this policy.

1. Information we collect

We collect information in the following ways:

Information you provide: When you request a demo, contact sales, or sign up, we collect your name, work email, company, phone number, and any details you include in the message field.
Usage information: We collect standard web analytics such as pages visited, time on site, referring URL, device type, and general location (country/region). See our Cookie Policy.
Product data (for customers): When you deploy Poocho AI, the platform processes conversation data — voice recordings, chat transcripts, customer identifiers — strictly on your infrastructure or in an environment you control. We do not access or store this data on our systems unless explicitly authorized under a support engagement.

2. How we use information

To respond to your inquiries, schedule demos, and deliver our services.
To improve our website, marketing, and product.
To send service updates, security notifications, and (with your consent) marketing communications.
To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

3. Legal basis for processing (EEA / UK)

If you are in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, we process your personal data on one or more of the following legal bases: performance of a contract, legitimate interest, compliance with legal obligations, or your consent.

4. Data storage and transfers

Website and marketing data is stored on servers located in the regions operated by our hosting, analytics, and form providers. For enterprise deployments, customer data remains in the region you deploy to — on-premise, private cloud, or the sovereign cloud region of your choice.

5. Data sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with:

Service providers who help us operate our website, form handling, and analytics (each under confidentiality obligations).
Authorities when required by law.
Acquirers in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets (with notice to you).

6. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data; object to or restrict processing; and withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, email hello@poochoai.com.

7. Data retention

We retain inquiry and contact data for up to 24 months after your last interaction with us, unless a longer period is required by law. Customer production data retention is defined in your deployment agreement.

8. Security

We use industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect personal data. See our Security overview for details.

9. Children

Our services are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted at the top of this page with a new "Last updated" date.
